Western Significations (Lilly)
asterwise_get_western_significations
What each house and planet signifies in William Lilly's Christian Astrology (1647), as a fixed list with stable ids: the twelve houses (pp. 50-56) and the seven planets (pp. 57-83: kinds of people, professions, manners when well and ill dignified).
Parameters
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
response_format | enum: markdown, json | no | Output format: 'markdown' (default) for a readable report, or 'json' for the raw structured payload. |
What it covers
Two levels: a domain and the signification, each with its page. Ids are never renamed or reused; a retired entry stays with deprecated=true and replaced_by. Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are left out because Lilly has none.
Workflow
BEFORE: None — standalone.
AFTER: asterwise_get_western_daily_factors — factors cite these ids.
Input
No inputs beyond response_format.
Output contract
data.domains[], data.houses[] {house, id, significations[] {id, label, domain, source, deprecated, replaced_by}}, data.planets[], data.version, data.source, data.id_policy
Response format
